A series of articles by motoring journalist David Betts with specialist builder Patrick Kimber. David Betts, a lifelong motoring and motor sport enthusiast, acts as media relations advisor to DAX. In recent months he has written articles for publication on historic motor sport, fuel and lubricants technology in F1, and high performance road cars. He is currently editing a book on F1 drivers and writes regularly for a number of web sites.

Patrick Kimber used to spend his working hours building Hart F1 engines and his spare time restoring classic cars. These days, he builds demonstrators to show car standards for DAX - the Tojeiro demonstrator which starred at Donington being a fine example of his work.
